For ten days, you will explore the main tourist attractions of Ecuador, starting with the rich historical and colonial heritage of Quito, followed by the vibrant indigenous culture of Otavalo and the impressive natural beauty and adventure activities in Baños de Agua Santa. Finally, you will discover the magical Cuyabeno Reserve, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, beautiful sunsets, and native communities.
This itinerary includes accommodation in selected hotels, private transportation, specialized guides, cultural and adventure activities, and personalized support to ensure every moment of your trip is memorable and enriching.

Day 1 – Arrival in Quito & Colonial Tour (Dinner included)
Reception at Mariscal Sucre International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Quito.
In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Quito’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit iconic churches such as La Compañía de Jesús and San Francisco, and head to the Panecillo viewpoint for panoramic views of the city and surrounding Andean mountains.
The day ends with dinner included at a local restaurant.
Departure at 8:00 am to Otavalo, in Imbabura Province.
Visit the famous artisan market at Plaza de los Ponchos, where you can admire textiles, crafts, and jewelry. Then, walk to Peguche Waterfall, a sacred site for indigenous communities, and learn about their traditions and rituals.
Next, visit El Cóndor Park, a rescue and observation center for Andean birds of prey.
Return to Quito in the afternoon.
In the morning, guided tour of historic sites in Quito that were not visited on Day 1, including museums and plazas.
At 2:00 pm, transfer by road to Baños de Agua Santa (approx. 3-4 hours).
Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy dinner included.
Morning tour of the Waterfalls Route, visiting the impressive Pailón del Diablo, Manto de la Novia, and other local waterfalls.
Lunch on your own.
Afternoon (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm): Visit the Tree House and experience the famous “Swing at the End of the World,” with views of the Tungurahua volcano.
Optional activity: Relax in the Termas de la Virgen (thermal baths).
Morning (9:00 am – 1:30 pm): Choose an adventure activity – rafting on the Pastaza River or canyoning on local waterfalls.
Afternoon: Canopy (zip line) over the valley and natural landscapes.
Later, transfer from Baños to Lago Agrio, starting the Amazon tour.
Transfer from Lago Agrio to the Cuyabeno Reserve.
Canoe navigation through the rivers and lagoons of the reserve, with opportunities to observe birds, monkeys, and Amazonian flora.
Piranha fishing and night excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife.
Accommodation in direct contact with nature at Green Forest EcoLodge.

Morning: Breakfast at the lodge and guided walk along jungle trails to observe local fauna, including howler monkeys, macaws, toucans, and other species.
Midday: Typical lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon: Canoe navigation through less-traveled channels of the Cuyabeno River for bird watching and wildlife spotting. Visit indigenous communities to learn about their traditions and crafts. Free time to rest or enjoy lodge facilities.
Night: Dinner at the lodge and night excursion to observe nocturnal animals such as frogs, insects, tarantulas, and caimans.
Morning: Breakfast and visit to indigenous communities and a local shaman to learn about traditions, crafts, and the jungle. Possibility to see Amazon pink dolphins if conditions allow.
Midday: Lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon: Free time to rest or enjoy lodge facilities.
Night: Dinner and educational talk on Amazon ecosystem conservation and biodiversity in the Cuyabeno Reserve.
Morning: Breakfast and canoe navigation back along the Cuyabeno River to the embarkation area. Bird and wildlife observation during the journey.
Midday: Box lunch.
Afternoon: Transfer from Cuyabeno Reserve to Lago Agrio (approx. 2:30 pm) and return to Quito.
Night: Dinner and accommodation in Quito.
