CANCELLATION POLICIES

Cancellation 

Geotours is operating following all the recommendations of the Government of the Republic of Ecuador, therefore in case of cancellations by passengers, THERE WILL BE NO MONEY REFUND (Cash, deposit, credit card payments, bank transfers, online payments, etc.)

1. In this case, if there is a cancellation before 15 days, Geotours reserves the right to offer an alternative for the postponement of any contracted tour, which could be the change of dates for the following months (Previous review of the case). For groups it is handled internally.
2. If somebody that already has booked, can’t travel, especially for a positive COVID exam, any inconvenience of a personal nature at the airport such as expired passport, permits from the country of minors without meeting the required requirements, homonyms, demands, arrivals at the airport at the time not indicated and for any other reason beyond, you can rebook to travel with another group.  

In the case of: 

1. Travel restrictions in/out of country.
2. Internal commotion and protest/strikes.
3. A positive test (Covid-19) or mandatory quarantine.
4. Civil unrest and protest/strikes.
5. Mobility problems or difficulty getting to the tour.

Cancellations made from 24 to 48 hours before the activity do not have the right to a refund or the option to claim.

Cancellations on the same day or no-shows to the tour, alcohol status or under the use of narcotic substances, WILL NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO A REFUND, neither will those who arrive after the group has left or leave before the activity has been completed.
