Day 1 – Wildlife, culture & waterfall adventure

We travel for 90 minutes to Puyo along the scenic Waterfall Route, passing through Llanganates and Sangay National Parks.
Your bilingual naturalist guide will explain the region’s biodiversity, ecosystems, and culture along the way.
Stop 1: Yanacocha Animal Rescue Center
See rescued Amazon animals like monkeys, wild cats, toucans, and reptiles. Learn about local wildlife conservation.
Stop 2: Quichua Indigenous Community – Cotococha
Meet the community, discover handmade pottery, traditional crafts, and learn about their way of life.
30-Min Traditional Canoe Ride
Navigate the Puyo River in a wooden canoe, just like the locals do.
Lunch at Hola Vida
Taste Maito de Pescado, a traditional fish dish cooked in jungle leaves.

Jungle Hike + Hidden Waterfall
